Afterward, we'll head to Breckenridge Brewery for a celebration & free beer!

Everything You Need to Know

What to Bring

Dress casually and wear closed-toed shoes. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

South Suburban Parks and Recreation will provide the other supplies you need.

When You Arrive

When you arrive, please check in with South Suburban Parks and Rec. to check in, sign a waiver, and pick up your supplies for the project.

The Game Plan

We'll plant trees and shrubs, remove litter and invasive plants, and mitigate wildfire brush.

We'll meet back up around noon, take a group photo, then head to Breckenridge Brewery for a free beer and Earth Day celebration!

From the put-in (River Run Park), we will paddle downstream and pick up trash along a 4-mile section of the South Platte.

We will take out at Overland Pond Park. Volunteers will help you unload and pack-out trash.

Then we’ll head over to Odell for the after-party.

Absolutely! Just be sure to keep an eye on them.

Where is the after party?

The after party will take place at Breckenridge Brewing

Can I bring my dogs?

For this event, we're asking you to leave your dogs at home.

Do I need to bring cleanup supplies?

It's suggested that you bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and snacks. Gloves, trash pickers, and trash bags will be provided.
